EASO Awards for Scientific Excellence

EASO has three awards which are presented during the European Congress on Obesity:

• The Wassermann Award
• The Young Investigator Award for Basic Science
• The Young Investigator Award for Clinical Science

The winners of the 2007 Young Investigator Awards are:

• Dr Cédric Moro for Basic Science (France) and

• Dr Vanessa van Harmelen (Sweden) for Clinical Research

Both winners presented their research during the Opening Ceremony of the 15th European Congress on Obesity in Budapest.
