EASO would like to congratulate Professor John Blundell (UK) and Professor Max Maislos (Israel) who were both elected onto the EASO Executive Committee. Professor Blundell as Treasurer, and Professor Maislos for a second term as Vice President Southern Region.

The EASO Executive Committee would like to congratulate the Turkish Association for the Study of Obesity whose bid to host the 18th European Congress on Obesity in Istanbul in 2011 was successful.  ECO 2011 will take place from 25-28 May 2011. Further information on this ECO will be available here in due course.
